This is full-grain calfskin with an open finish, meaning the surface is neither embossed nor sealed. The leather's natural structure remains fully intact. This openness allows the leather to visibly react to wear, light, and touch. It darkens, becomes smoother over time, and develops a consistent patina. Traces of use don't remain superficial but become embedded in the material, giving the strap its unique character.
